Saskatchewan is blessed with an accessible wilderness. We have clean lakes, pristine forests and healthy populations of game, all within a short drive of major cities.
Traditional handcrafted log buildings
The 2,300 sq. ft. main lodge is fully modern, with bedrooms, a large dining area, a reading loft area, washrooms, and decks that overlook the lake. The rest of the buildings are self-contained log cabins with power, wood stoves, propane ovens, a fridge and furnishings. There’s even a playground area for the kids.
Delicious home-cooked meals
On our package plans, you’ll be treated to delicious home-cooked meals every day. For safety purposes, we run a dry camp.
Open year-round
Smoothstone Lake Lodge makes a great place for year-round activities like snowmobiling, executive retreats, ice fishing, and family gatherings.

Smoothstone Lake Lodge is only a 3.5-hour drive from Saskatoon. Here, you’ll find a facility located on a beautiful sandy beach on a lake surrounded by wilderness that is unpressured and unpopulated.

Pricing
A deposit will be required and will be negotiated at the time of booking. Payments after Jan. 1 are non-refundable. We will consider refunds only if we can refill the spot or cannot fulfill our hunt commitment to you. If you cancel prior to Jan. 1, your deposit will be refunded less a $100 service fee. Payment is either cash, cheque or e-transfer.
Main lodge
- $75 per person per night
- Up to 10 people
- $30 for kids ages 2-12
- No charge for kids under 2 years old
- Includes 5 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms
- Bedding provided (but not bath towels)
The main lodge rents as a whole building; we don’t rent separate rooms in the lodge. If rented for only one night, there is a $100 cleaning fee; stays of two nights or longer have no cleaning fee.
Cabins
- $50 per person per night
- Up to 4 adults in smaller cabins
- Up to 6 adults in two-story cabins
- $20 for kids ages 2-12
- No charge for kids under 2 years old
- Kitchen with fridge, stove, cookware and dishes; barbecue outside
Cabins don’t have running water, but we bring water to the cabins, and they have a sink for washing. A central bath and shower room is available for your use, along with clean, tidy outhouses. We don’t provide bedding.
Full camp rental
- Up to 20 people, including children
- $75 per additional guest, up to a maximum of 25 people, including children
- There will be a surcharge added to the invoice if the maximum number is exceeded. Thanks for your understanding
- Includes access to all the buildings, the canoes, and the kayaks
