Check-in is 3 p.m. and check-out is 11 a.m. These times allow us to make sure the camp is ready for you, and to get it ready for the next group coming in.
Our camp runs off an alternative power system. It's a combination of solar, batteries and a generator. As a result, we don't have an unlimited supply of power.
We would appreciate it if you could avoid bringing slow cookers or any appliances that create heat or have higher power consumption. Thanks for your consideration.
No. We are off grid, so there is no EV charging at camp.
No. There is no cell service at camp, and you will lose coverage on the drive in.
Yes. We have free satellite WiFi in the main lodge. The signal is limited outside the lodge. It's fine for checking email and browsing the web, but not for streaming or large downloads. This is a great place to unplug!
Full driving directions are on the Travel page. Please print them before you leave, because you will lose cell service on the way.
Prince Albert, Big River or Meadow Lake are the last places to stop, depending on which way you are travelling.
Yes, we sell fuel at camp. We still suggest filling up in Prince Albert, as you will only pass a couple more gas stations north of town before you get to the lodge.
Yes. We have all the hunting and fishing licences in camp.
Yes. You will need to fill out a non-resident firearm declaration form, and there is a fee per person. Don't sign the form until you are in front of a customs officer. The form, the fee and the steps for travelling from the U.S. are on the Travel page.
If you have any concerns about crossing the border because of a past record (for example, DUI charges), please look into it well before your trip. Who to contact is listed on the Travel page.
Yes. A deposit is required, and the amount is negotiated at the time of booking.
If you cancel prior to Jan. 1 of the year of the trip, your deposit will be refunded less a $100 service fee. Payments after Jan. 1 are non-refundable. We will consider refunds only if we can refill the spot or cannot fulfill our hunt commitment to you.
